Floor formwork Tubes

Tube system
for ventilated vaults

The Tubes Loose Formwork by Ferracin Group is the solution for creating vespaie and aerated floors, perfect for storage or dispersion tanks in any building context. Ideal for civil and industrial projects, it is the answer when the depth of the wasp makes the use of traditional casings impossible.

Ecological

Ferracin Group uses recycled plastic

The modular system Tubes is made using recycled plastic materials from post-consumer and industrial waste. This choice results in significant emissions savings, as 1.5 kilograms of carbon dioxide is avoided for every kilogram of recycled plastic.

Features
Tubes for interstice

The modular system assembled by Tubes is used for the construction of vaults, ventilated floors and interstice, both in civil and industrial buildings. This solution is particularly useful in the creation of tanks for the dispersion or accumulation of rainwater intended for non-potable uses, such as fire-fighting systems or irrigation.

The formwork for interspaces and floors is indispensable in contexts where the height of the vespaio does not allow the use of traditional single-block castings or when customized solutions are needed, such as in the presence of inclined planes or multi-level surfaces.

Composed of three basic elements – a 15 cm high square (50 x 50 cm) formwork, a 3 cm support foot and a 125 mm diameter pipe – TUBES is usually laid on a thin concrete substrate, with a variable thickness according to the application.

Once a suitable welded mesh and the reinforcing bars for the pillars are installed, the concrete is poured, creating pillars with a constant diameter that, Once hardened, they ensure the strength of the floor and the uniform distribution of loads over the entire surface.

RADON GAS is a colourless and extremely volatile radioactive gas produced by certain rocks in the earth’s crust and therefore present in varying concentrations in all types of soil. In areas where soils are particularly rich in this element, it happens that in closed environments it reaches concentrations that are dangerous to humans.

Ventilated foundations for aerated floors

The ventilated vespaio, also known as “floor vespaio” or “ventilated vespaio formwork”, is the optimal solution for the construction of floors, both in new buildings and in renovation works of civil and industrial buildings.

This system, laid on a substrate with a minimum thickness of concrete, provides a solid base for the casting of concrete, creating pillars that, once the material matures, distribute loads evenly over the entire surface of the floor, Ensuring material economy.

The floor vespaio aeration acts as a sanitary vacuum, providing a vapour barrier for the floor. In addition, thanks to its ventilated structure through pipes connected with the outside, the floor vespazo contributes to the disposal of Radon gas, ensuring a safe and healthy indoor environment.

Made of recycled plastic, the polypropylene waste shroud is a sustainable choice that allows significant emission savings. Its spherical shell shape allows maximum mechanical strength with minimum concrete thickness, guaranteeing significant savings in the materials used and allowing control of shrinkage cracks.

How to lay the vespaio aerato

The Tubes system offers a quick and easy installation and assembly procedure. After connecting the tubes to the feet, it is sufficient to start laying from the top and proceeding downwards, following a movement from left to right, completing one row at a time. The two directional arrows on the loss formwork should be directed upwards and to the right (see attached illustration).

Construction of the underlay in lean concrete, with a thickness varying according to overloads and soil load

Assembly of the pipes with the feet

Installation of the tubes + feet and coupling with the casseri Tubes following the laying direction and inserting the locking nails

Installation of the Tubes strip, if necessary

Installation of welded mesh and reinforcing bars for the reinforcement of the pillars

Execution of the concrete casting to make a hood of variable thickness depending on the use of the work.
