Certifications

ISO 9001:2015

Based on its demonstration of compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, the Ferracin Group has obtained UNI EN ISO 9001 certification, which declares that it is compliant with the development and production of plastic items by injection moulding.

This result is not seen by the company as an achievement but as a starting point on which to continue to invest in order to raise production quality to the highest standards and to be recognised in the injection moulding market as one of the most qualitatively valid and established companies in the sector.

In fact, ISO 9001 is a company quality certification and a source of extreme security for customers as it ensures that the standards used within the Ferracin Group comply with the rules imposed by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

All Ferracin Group products are accompanied by certifications and tests performed by recognised technological laboratories, and customised solutions are accompanied by thermal transmittance calculations produced by our in-house technical department.

ISO 14001:2015

The ISO 14001 certification makes us very proud as it certifies and demonstrates that the Ferracin Group operates with the awareness that sustainable development and respect for the environment can bring enormous benefits to its organisation.

The implementation of ISO 14001: 2015 provides our company with a systematic approach to plan, manage and implement a management system to reduce our business impact.

The development and production of plastic articles by injection moulding applied to the most recognised international standard for environmental management systems allows us to carry on our daily battle to protect the environment and our environmental policy as well as to comply with laws to limit pollution and to constantly improve the confidence our customers have in our company and in the products they buy.

Indeed, the Ferracin Group fully complies with environmental legal compliance by improving resource management every day, including energy use, facilitating pollution reduction, decreasing waste production and not unintentionally pouring waste materials down the drain, thus helping our planet’s environmental performance.

PLASTICS
SECOND LIFE

Being “Plastics Second Life” certified is synonymous with great satisfaction for us as we can say that the Ferracin Group is able to print products derived from the treatment of plastic waste recovered from industrial waste and plastic waste recovered from separate waste collection.

This certification, of which we are very proud, allows our company to make the recycled materials used for production traceable and identifiable, and attests to the percentage of recycled material of which the product is composed.

This conformity certification guarantees the customer that the Ferracin Group’s products are guaranteed by a very important accredited body, comply with the requirements specified in the ‘Plastics Second Lifecertification regulation, and are therefore included in what are defined as products of the highest quality for their environmental impact.

Integrated Quality and Environment Policy

Ferracin Group, starting from a basic choice of setting quality and environmental protection as key elements for the services provided in its plastic moulding business, has decided to draw up its own Integrated Quality and Environment Policy.

This Integrated Policy is pursued and remains as a constant point of reference for all its actions. As a tool for achieving and maintaining a high level of Quality and Environmental Sustainability, the company has decided to equip the company with an Integrated Management System (IMS) that complies with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standards and is suitable for achieving the objectives set out in this document and for the continuous improvement of the IMS itself.
