Easy-light offers a fast and efficient solution to address the weight challenges of bi-directional plate. The individual components of Easy-light can be easily assembled, both on site and possibly pre-assembled in the factory, to create a module of lightening called “panel”.

This panel is easy to assemble, precise and automatically ensures the covering of the irons and the correct spacing of the reinforcement layers.

The Easy-light slab lightening system is available in two sizes, 40×40 and 50×50, allowing the creation of lightening panels with differentiated bases.

This feature offers the flexibility to create areas with reinforced ribs near the pillars, reducing or eliminating the need for additional reinforcement in the ribs.

The modern and compact design of the Easy-light panel guarantees high lightening performance, making it the ideal choice for those who seek maximum lightness for their sole. Thanks to their versatility and ease of installation, slab panels allow the construction of slabs at competitive costs in terms of both labor and materials.

Advantages of lightened slab panels

  • The possibility of pre-assembling the lightening, thus reducing both the installation time and the possibility of laying errors
  • By placing the panels directly on the lower beams, no supports are needed that could interfere with the underlying beams and spacers making it difficult to define the joists in the work
  • As the EASY-LIGHT panel also acts as an intermediate spacer between the reinforcement mesh, and since it can vary the base of the module, it is possible to eliminate both the spacer trusses and the shear reinforcement in the joists (10-15% of the total reinforcement); saving material and reducing the work required
  • Thanks to the variable base, the reduced taper angle of the element (5°), and the absence of protruding tabs on the modules, it is possible to create an optimized rib system, obtaining, as shown in table 1, higher class lightening levels, With relative savings in concrete and steel consumption.

What are the functions of the formwork panel?

The slab formwork panel is a highly functional solution for the construction of slabs. Thanks to its modular structure, it allows for easy and precise installation, helping to optimise construction processes.

  • Intermediate spacer between the lower and upper mesh of the reinforcement, with elimination of the spacer lattice and relative reduction of labour costs.
  • Upper and lower spacer between lightening and reinforcement to ensure the iron cover as per the regulations.
  • Installation according to the supplied on site, guaranteeing maximum cost-effectiveness
  • Effective section lightening also because the possibility of assembling elements of various types has a high number of possible lightening heights (example: a 26 cm module is formed by coupling a 19cm element with a 7cm element )

    Laying and casting of a low-plate floor

    Place the lower reinforcement on spacers as per project

    Place the lightening panels on the lower reinforcement according to the indications given on the design tables and the identification code given on the panels.

    Tie the panels to the lower reinforcement

    Place the upper reinforcement according to design specifications directly on the module assembly bars

    Make the first stage of casting, relative to the sole lower, affecting the ribs in height for about 1|2cm.

    Carry out the second phase of casting by completing the section of the slab lightened at the beginning of the first phase of casting.
